This is a full day class where we will cover all aspects of wool processing, from shearing sheep to spinning yarn! You will learn basics of shearing, sorting raw fleece, scouring (washing) the wool, carding/combing and spinning the wool on both a drop spindle and a spinning wheel. You’ll go home with your own freshly spun wool to dye, weave and/or knit with!

Please arrive on time as we have loads to cover and will be starting promptly at 10 am. Please bring a packed lunch. If you have any wool items of your own that you want to learn how to use (spindles, untouched but hopeful spinning wheels, bags of fleece..) feel free to bring them along and we can use them.
